Summary. We collect the minimum needed to run a study app. No real name or location is required. We do not sell data or show ads.
SAT Compass is published by Ascension America, LLC (“we”, “us”). Contact: aasupport0@gmail.com.
On your device: study settings, target score and test date, practice answers, mastery scores, Mistake Notebook items and notes, flashcard progress, plan tasks and test attempts. If you create an account: the same data in your private cloud record, plus your email address for sign-in. Optional: a parent or guardian email you enter for weekly summaries.
Location, contacts, photos, microphone, advertising identifiers or browsing history. Anonymous usage analytics are off unless you turn them on in Privacy settings, and never include your answers, notes, name or email.
Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We receive only a confirmation that the unlock is owned; we never see payment details.
If you enable the optional AI tutor, only the current question, lesson and your skill levels are sent to our server, which forwards them to an AI provider. Personal details are removed first. We do not use your data to train AI models.
The app is intended for students 13 and older. Younger students should use it through a parent or guardian’s account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; contact us to have any such data removed.
Export or delete your data any time from Profile → Privacy and Profile → Account. Deleting your account removes your cloud record and local data. Email us for any other request, including access, correction or objection under GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA.
Data in transit is encrypted. Cloud data is protected by per-user access rules. Sign-in tokens are stored in the device keychain.
We will post changes here and, for material changes, in the app.
